If you’ve been following The Journey for a while you’ve probably already heard of Adam Bell. He was the guy who went from working long, long hours to becoming a triathlete in between fishing holidays. After a while he got bored of all the time off so he’s decided to get stuck back into work and put in at least 30 hours per week to grow the business. Adam’s bought a new office space and big changes are ahead.
I asked him recently how adding simPRO to his business has changed things for him personally and professionally. This is his email to me in all its unedited glory.
It's always exciting to see what can be achieved once the hard work is done and a business owner can sit back and enjoy the rewards.

When it’s time to go out and get more business, one of the greatest tools you can call upon is a well-functioning Customer Relationship Management system.
In 2016, the owner of BLUi Security, Boz Jovanovic, learned a lifetime of lessons. His company had just had its biggest quarter after five years of being in business.
It’s not uncommon to hear stories from trade business owners learning the hard way what it takes to ride the roller coaster of profit and loss. Boz learned a lot last year, and he’s come out the other side with a fresh approach and some fresh ideas.
Your digital presence as a business is absolutely crucial. If you want consistent work, to build trust in your brand, and the opportunity for growth, you have to know how to gather feedback, and how to embrace it.
Here, we’ve laid out the most important things you need to know about doing just that.
Steve Keil is the driving force behind the Laser network which supports more than 240 plumbing and electrical contracting businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
After several years of building, training and maintaining their own software, Laser turned to simPRO for a solution to support their growing community.
In the past Dan Ogden, owner of DB Electrical Services, struggled to effectively manage high volumes of orders from suppliers. This then affected his ability to effectively manage projects by making it difficult for him to organise and assign resources to them.
